FR3 Digital Twin

What does a digital-twin reference layer contribute to FR3 engineering?

An FR3 digital-twin reference layer organizes virtual representations of radio environments, assets, configurations, models, and observations so engineering teams can compare assumed and observed behavior over time. The term does not imply that the namespace provides an operational, real-time, synchronized, or validated twin.

Why it matters: FR3 decisions may depend on changing geometry, antenna configuration, channel assumptions, measurements, and simulation results. A governed reference layer can maintain traceability without treating any one model as ground truth.
